Drew Prince

Interim Director
Drew is the Interim Director and voice specialist for Space City Sound and has been with the chorus since its inception. He has been involved in music and theatre since a very young age and continues to perform as well as maintain a private vocal studio in the Houston area. Drew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre from Sam Houston State University and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from New York University.

Drew's barbershop career began with The Houston Tidelanders in 2013 and has included performance with other choruses of the Barbershop Harmony Society including The Vocal Majority Chorus in Dallas. He is also an accomplished quartet singer, most recently singing with his quartet, Rhapsody, as the Lead. Rhapsody is the Southwestern District 2019 Southwestern District Quartet Champions and went on to International in Salt Lake City where they placed 21st in the world, earning the Barbershop Harmony Society's Dealer's Choice Award.

In his time outside of music Drew enjoys spending time at home with his husband Andrew and their two dogs. He enjoys spending time with his friends exploring Houston and finding new ways to bring music to the area.

Allen Otto

Assistant Director
Allen has been involved with performance and production for 18 years, including acting, directing, coaching, and training. He holds his Bachelor of Arts from Trinity University and Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston School of Law, and is currently a Felony Chief Attorney for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.

Allen is currently an adjudicator in the Performance category for the Barbershop Harmony Society, has been a lecturer for Harmony University International, and has been a certified theater adjudicator since 2013. His performance packages have been on the division, district, and international stages and he continues to bring innovative solutions to performance to choruses and quartets across the society through his coaching and teaching.

Allen also remains active in the Houston theater community, including guest direction and creating clinics for High Schools and Middle Schools across the city and state to promote the joy of performance in youth.

By day he works in property management and enjoys reading, cinema, museums, swimming and experiencing all of the great culture that Houston provides!
